Here We Grow
"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen" -2 Peter 3:18
About Us
At North Bradley Church of Christ, we have a simple hope: to see people come to know Jesus Christ and grow in their Christian faith.
Love
We love Him because He first loved us (1 John 4:19), and we love you because He loves you (1 John 4:11). Our goal is for everything we do to come out of love for God and for people.
Truth
John 14:6 says: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through me'." At North Bradley, you will find a congregation deeply rooted in the firm foundations of the truth that is New Testament Christianity.
Trust
Because of everything He’s given us, we trust God. We trust that He cares for us, that He knows what we’re going through, that He hurts when we hurt. We trust that Jesus is coming back someday to take us home. In this trust, we find peace.
Hope
No matter what we go through in this life, we never give up hope. That’s because our hope isn’t based in this life, or even on this Earth. Our hope is in heaven and the One who lives there (Colossians 1:5).
Worship
Because of everything He’s given us, we worship Him. As Isaiah 12:5 says, “Sing to the Lord, for He has done excellent things.” He’s given His Son, His love, and His church. He’s given us everything, so we give Him the glory.
Evangelism
Our goal is to reach the whole world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We want to be dedicated to the Great Commission, resulting in every member and new convert being discipled to be like Jesus so that they can do the same for others.
Belonging
Every single one of us has a purpose. Every member of God’s body, His church, (Colossians 1:18), has a purpose (1 Corinthians 12:14-27). We all belong, we are all important, we have found our home.
Service
Because of everything He’s given us, we serve. We serve Him and we serve our fellow man. Just as Jesus “did not come to be served, but to serve” (Matthew 20:28), we want to humbly “through love serve one another” (Galatians 5:13).
